The first game we played was presented by the club Kurpfalz Feldherren. They used the ruleset Pikeman’s Lament and had a very beautiful table of a port.
A picture of Krüger playing Warmaster. High elves vs dwarves. It was the first time I saw a Warmaster game. To my surprise troop movement was very fast and there were strong domino effects. A lot more action on the table than I had expected.

DeleteThose are some grest looking games - especially the 17th century harbour. Thanks for sharing them. I wonder whether Tolkien and Brecht were discussed together or separately, I know more of the first than the second.

Yes. The harbour looked quite impressive. If I remember well, the point of the discussion was this: Should "The Lord of the Rings" be compared to other works of literature, like Brecht's work, for example, or does fantasy literature have its own context, with its own aesthetic rules?
